This internship program is unique in that stipends will be awarded to interns based on their work performance.
At the end of their internship program, interns will be fairly evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Adherence to deadlines
- Adherence to instructions and guidelines
- Disposition
- Meeting of expectations
- Oral communication
- Punctuality
- Quality of work
- Reliability
- Use of correct AP style, spelling, grammar and punctuation
- Written communication
The evaluation will be conducted in writing. The maximum number of points for each criterion is five. Therefore, since there are 10 criteria, the maximum number of points that an intern can earn on the performance evaluation is 50. The performance rating, recommendation letter, length of internship period and stipend amount will depend upon the number of points earned on the performance evaluation.
