Dr. Linnie S. Carter, APR, the president and CEO of Linnie Carter & Associates LLC and a community college vice president, presented at the national conference of the National Council for Marketing & Public Relations (NCMPR) on March 20.
Held in New Orleans, the national conference featured marketing and public relations professionals from community colleges throughout the United States.
Dr. Carter presented “Speak Your Donors’ Language: Tips to Sharpen Donor Communications.” She discussed effective communication methods for community college donors, which fundraising projects donors might support, why donors contribute to community colleges and which key messages might resonate with community college donors.
